SEND Teacher (MLD)Designated Specialist Provision unit within a Primary SchoolBexleyMPS A small, friendly primary school in Bexley are looking for a SEND teacher to join their school to teach within their Designated Specialist Provision (DSP).The RoleIn this role you will be the teaching a class of primary age children with moderate learning needs within the DSP. The class will have a maximum of 10 children and they will follow a specialist curriculum tailored to their needs. You will be responsible for planning and involved in assessments and EHCP reviews for the children in your class. Where appropriate, children will have the opportunity to access activities in the main primary school including forest school, assemblies and school events. You will have support from trained SEND teaching assistants, therapists, leadership teams and outside agencies based within the borough.The school are ideally looking for a qualified teacher who has previous experience of working with students with SEND.
