About the Role

Our client is seeking a SEND Teacher to deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching to pupils with complex needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support and re-engage learners through a personalised and supportive educational approach, helping them achieve positive outcomes and prepare for life beyond school.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
  • Support pupils with SEND, trauma backgrounds, and behavioural challenges
  • Use assessment data to track progress and adapt teaching strategies
  • Promote social, emotional, and academic development through therapeutic approaches
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and specialist staff
Requirements
  • Proven experience teaching pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour
  • QTS/QTLS qualification
  • Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment, and behaviour management in specialist settings
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and assess effective teaching and learning
  • Commitment to safeguarding and professional standards
  • Resilience, empathy, adaptability, and a passion for supporting vulnerable pupils
