The ‘Outstanding’ SEND School are seeking a SEND Specialist Teacher for a long-term contract starting in September or October 2025, continuing through to at least the end of the academic year. Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a passionate and committed educator who has experience in, or a strong desire to work with, students with ASC and associated needs. You may be a qualified teacher or an experienced unqualified practitioner looking to make a difference in a specialist setting. Candidates with a primary teaching background are particularly encouraged to apply.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with students with ASC and other learning needs
- Hold QTS/QTLS, though unqualified applicants with relevant experience are welcome
- Be primary trained or have experience delivering differentiated learning at a primary level
- Be a resilient and adaptable classroom practitioner
- Have a positive, inclusive attitude and high expectations for pupils’ learning and development
- Be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
- Be enthusiastic about developing individualised learning journeys for pupils
