** Monday to Friday, 8:20am - 4pm

A wonderful Special Needs School in Basildon is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join their team in September, on a long-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with PMLD and other complex needs.

About the Role:

• Supporting students on a one-to-one basis
• Working with pupils with PMLD and challenging behaviours
• Creating a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment
• Using creative and adaptive strategies to engage students

What We''re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher with SEND experience/ ECT with a passion for SEND
• Strong behaviour management skills and a compassionate approach
• Patience, positivity, and a desire to see all students succeed
• A good standard of education with the ability to assess and develop learners'' progress individually
