Pay Rate: -550 - -750 per week (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, Term time

About the School:
We''re working with a specialist SEND school in Rochdale that supports young people aged 11-19 with a wide range of complex special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and complex communication needs. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist provision, helping learners build the communication, social and life skills they need to thrive.

About the Role:
As a SEND Behaviour Support Worker, you''ll support learners with complex learning needs, working within a person-centred, holistic approach rather than a traditional curriculum. You''ll build consistent, trusted relationships with your learners, adapting your communication to support their needs, and helping them develop confidence, independence and life skills day to day.

• A genuine passion for supporting young people with autism, ADHD or complex learning needs
• Confidence adapting communication style to suit individual learners, including non-verbal and complex communicators
• A calm, patient and consistent approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships quickly
• Emotional and physical resilience, with a person-centred mindset when working with complex needs
• Strong team-working skills and a genuine desire to make a positive, lasting impact
• Relevant qualification desirable

To Be Eligible You Must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Have an enhanced DBS certificate already on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
• Provide two professional references from child-related roles
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
