We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and resilient On-Call Behaviour Support staff to work in secondary schools across Oldham.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Behaviour Mentors, Youth Workers, Cover Supervisors or individuals with strong behaviour management experience who are looking to make a real difference in a school environment.The role involves working closely with class teachers to support students who may be struggling to engage with their learning or regulate their behaviour. You will build positive relationships with pupils, encourage them to remain in lessons wherever possible and provide support when students need to be removed from the classroom.The RoleWork alongside class teachers to support students with behavioural and pastoral needs.Build positive relationships and rapport with students to encourage engagement and positive behaviour.Provide immediate support when a student is struggling to remain in the classroom.Encourage students to remain in lessons and re-engage with their learning wherever possible.Accompany students to an appropriate alternative classroom or designated area when they need to be removed from a lesson.Help students regulate ..... full job details .....
