SEN Teaching Assistants (KS3/KS4)
We are currently recruiting 6 dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive Special School on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs while working as part of a highly experienced and committed team. The successful candidates will support either a Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 class of pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals in a nurturing and structured environment. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) within a KS3 or KS4 classroom. Work closely with the class teacher and wider multidisciplinary team to deliver engaging and personalised learning. Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learning needs. Encourage positive behaviour, communication, social interaction, and emotional development. Assist with personal care where required. Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all pupils. Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, you must: Hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (such as Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, Health and Social Care, Education, or equivalent).
