SEN Teaching AssistantPay: 90-115 per day - DOEMon-Fri, Daily Hours: 8:30 - 16:00Full-time / Term Time onlyEnfield, North LondonWe''re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-19 years with special educational needs, including SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), alongside associated social, emotional, and learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive education and supporting young people with complex needs to thrive across schools in Enfield and the surrounding areas.SEN Teaching Assistant Role:Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including SLD and PMLD, as well as SEMH and additional learning needsProviding 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual needs and abilitiesAssisting with personalised learning programmes, care plans, and sensory-based activitiesSupporting communication, engagement, and emotional regulationWorking closely with teachers and therapists to maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environmentBuilding positive, trusting relationships to promote confidence, independence, and wellbeingSEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:A genuine interest in supporting children with complex and profound learning needsA patient, calm, and proactive approachExperience supporting pupils with SLD and/or PMLD (desirable but not essential)Manual handling, personal care, or sensory support experience (preferred)Strong communication ..... full job details .....
