Location: Hillingdon, West LondonPay: 95- 115 per day PAYEContract: Full-time Long-termStart Date: September 2026Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant with a background in SEND?Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Hillingdon seeking an enthusiastic LSA to join their team in September.This role would suit an experienced TA who enjoys providing practical, emotional and academic support to children with additional needs.Your ResponsibilitiesYou will work alongside the class teacher and wider support team to ensure pupils can access learning and participate fully in school life.The role will involve:Supporting pupils individually and in small groupsAssisting with literacy and numeracy activitiesSupporting pupils with additional learning needsEncouraging positive communication and social skillsHelping pupils manage emotions and behaviourSupporting classroom routinesWorking closely with teachers and families where appropriateAbout YouThe successful candidate must have previous experience working in a school environment.SEND experience is essential, with experience supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties or learning needs highly desirable.You should be approachable, patient and adaptable, with the confidence to work with pupils who may require a more individualised approach.You will need:Previous UK school experienceSEND experienceExcellent communication skillsA proactive and nurturing ..... full job details .....
