SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-Time | Southwark

Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a supportive Southwark school?

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and nurturing school on a full-time, 5-day-per-week basis. The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting pupils with special educational needs, alongside a strong understanding of SEN practice and a genuine commitment to helping every child reach their potential.

A degree is preferred, although relevant experience and a strong understanding of SEN will also be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
• Support pupils'' academic, social and emotional development.
• Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team to implement individual learning and support plans.
• Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
