SEN Teaching Assistants Needed - North Bristol Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people?Do you have a calm, caring nature and a natural ability to build strong relationships?We''re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team across a number of SEN Schools across North Bristol.This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people aged 2-19 with additional needs, including ASD, SLD, SPD, PMLD, communication difficulties and behaviour that challenges. What you''ll be doing:Supporting pupils with additional needs in their learning, development and emotional growthWorking closely with class teachers to create engaging and interactive activitiesHelping children develop social skills and positive relationshipsMaintaining a safe, supportive and nurturing environmentMaking a genuine difference to young people''s lives every day What we''re looking for:A genuine interest in supporting young people, especially those with mental health needsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPatience, empathy and resiliencePrevious experience with PECS, Makaton, personal care (not required in all settings) and medication administration is a bonus - but not essential as full training will be given The role:Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time onlyPay: from 90 per dayFlexible: part-time or full-time options availableStart: Immediate starts available (with potential for permanent contracts for the right person)Location: North ..... full job details .....
