The school provides a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their potential and thrive both academically and personally.The RoleWe are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mainstream classroom experience who is keen to transition into a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) setting.Some pupils present with complex needs and behaviours, so patience, empathy, and a positive approach are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport pupils with MLD/SLD in class, one-to-one, and in small groups.Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning programmes and structured daily routines.Encourage pupils'' independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.Contribute to behaviour management strategies and create a calm, positive classroom environment.Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.About YouExperience working with children or young people (in a school, childcare, or community setting).Patient, resilient, and ..... full job details .....
