SEN Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs Provision (Primary School, Dagenham) Pay: 96- 115 per dayWe are seeking a confident, resilient, and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs within a small provision in a mainstream primary school in Dagenham. The children are awaiting specialist placements and present with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, cognitive delays, and limited communication skills.This is a highly rewarding role where you will work as part of a supportive team to create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for pupils who require a high level of consistency and care.Key Responsibilities:Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with autism, ADHD, and cognitive delaysAssist children with limited communication using supportive strategiesWork collaboratively with the staff team to maintain a positive and structured settingSupport with personal care, including toileting and feeding, when requiredPromote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learningHelp create a nurturing environment that supports the needs and development of each childRequirements:Experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, or complex learning needsComfortable with personal care and high-needs supportConfident, calm, and able to work collaboratively as part of a close teamStrong understanding of communication and sensory needsA patient, empathetic, and consistent approachThe school has expressed a preference ..... full job details .....
