SEN Teaching Assistant - (Learning disabilities and Autism) needed!REED Education work closely with a special educational needs (SEN) school, located just outside of Cambridge, by supplying SEN Teaching Assistant''s on both long-term contracts and on a temp-to-perm basis.Starting from ASAP or Easter half term, the school and I are looking for multiple SEN Teaching Assistants to join their growing and friendly team to support the pupils in this fast paced and modern SEN school.The School:Caters for children with learning disabilities and autismProvide a bespoke education plan for each individual childBenefits from a wealth of resources that are available for pupils and staffHas first class facilities available, such as, sensory rooms, soft playrooms and intervention roomsProvides regular, on-going and specialist trainingHas a highly supportive and engaging leadership teamThe Role (SEN Teaching Assistant):Supporting children on a 1:1 or small group basisDeveloping each child academically, socially and emotionallyNo two days will be the sameFull time hours based on school term time (32.5 hours per week)Working inside and outside the classroomHighly rewarding with huge job satisfaction What you will need:Experience working with special educational needs (beneficial NOT essential)Available to work full-time (school hours)A positive and enthusiastic attitude to workUnderstanding that each child will require an individual approach and support planGood teamwork and communication ..... full job details .....
