You will be working alongside an exceptional team of educators, therapists, and support staff to guide young adults (aged 16-19) as they transition toward adulthood, independent living, and future employment.Key Responsibilities:Deliver Tailored Support: Provide individualised 1:1 and small group support to students with ASC and associated sensory or communication needs within the FE department.Promote Independence: Encourage the development of life skills, social communication, and self-confidence to prepare students for life beyond school.Collaborative Implementation: Partner with class teachers and multi-disciplinary teams to implement individualised learning pathways and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).Positive Behaviour Support: Utilise proactive de-escalation techniques and positive reinforcement to manage challenging behaviours and foster a calm learning environment.What ..... full job details .....
