Are you an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children in their earliest years? Cover People are looking for a dedicated EYFS SEN TA to join a welcoming Wythenshawe primary school in a long-term role, working specifically with children who have Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for children in EYFS with SLCN and communication needs.
• Implement strategies and interventions to support speech and language development, guided by SEN specialists.
• Collaborate with teachers, speech and language therapists, and external agencies to ensure consistent support.
• Promote positive relationships, independence, and confidence in young learners.
• Create an engaging, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

Essential Criteria

• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly Speech, Language and Communication Needs.
• A background in EYFS education or early childhood settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use initiative and adapt support to meet individual needs.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach to helping children succeed.
