A highly respected specialist school in Eastbourne is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their incredible team. What You''ll Be Doing:
- Supporting pupils with diverse needs including autism, medical conditions, and learning difficulties
- Assisting with personal care, therapy routines, and communication strategies (training provided)
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver consistent, high-quality support
- Helping to create a calm, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Using a variety of tools and strategies to support emotional regulation, independence, and wellbeing
Who We''re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or adults with additional needs (education, care, or clinical settings)
- HCAs, psychology graduates, and those with care or youth work backgrounds often thrive in this role
- Calm under pressure, a great communicator, and genuinely passionate about making a difference
- Able to commit to full-time hours during term time
- Team player who''s ready to get stuck in and learn on the job
