SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time - Robertsbridge AreaLocation: Robertsbridge area, East SussexHours: Full Time, Monday to FridaySetting: Specialist SEN SchoolAre you looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference to children with autism and additional needs?Academics are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist school in the Robertsbridge area, supporting primary-aged pupils with autism and a range of additional needs.This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with teaching staff to help pupils communicate, engage with learning and develop confidence and independence. You will support children with individual learning needs, using a patient, consistent and nurturing approach throughout the school day.You will be supporting pupils with needs such as:Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)Speech, language and communication difficultiesSensory processing needsSocial, emotional and mental health needsADHD and difficulties with emotional regulationModerate to severe learning difficultiesAnxiety and difficulties managing changes to routines or demandsThe role will involve:Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basisHelping pupils access learning through practical and sensory activitiesSupporting communication, interaction and social developmentHelping pupils manage emotions and regulate their behaviourFollowing individual support plans and providing a consistent approachEncouraging independence, confidence and ..... full job details .....
