Academics are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist school near Wadhurst.This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs, particularly social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence and build positive relationships in a supportive school environment.The Role:Supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs in the classroom and across the school.Helping pupils manage their emotions, behaviour and engagement with learning.Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils and encouraging their independence.Supporting teachers to create a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment.Assisting with classroom activities, learning resources and wider school life.The Ideal Candidate:Has experience working with children or young people with SEN, SEMH or behavioural needs.Is patient, resilient, caring and proactive.Can build positive relationships and respond calmly to challenging situations.Is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.Works well as part of a team and is committed to safeguarding.Why Work Through Academics?Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement.Opportunities to gain experience in specialist SEN settings.Access to local education opportunities across East ..... full job details .....
