About the Role

Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs (including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties).Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and supportive learning environment.Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.Foster independence and boost confidence in pupils.Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.

The Ideal Candidate

Has previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting.Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Is patient, empathetic, and adaptable.Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) - desirable but not essential.
