The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential. You may be supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis or within small groups, working closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality support. Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs. Support children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Implement individual learning and behaviour support strategies. Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to support pupil progress. Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
