SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistant Are you a highly passionate and experienced SEN TA? Do you have extensive SEN experience, working with young people with complex needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Leeds. This is a TA position, offering support across the whole school on a 1:1 and small group intervention basis. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils with a range of complex and behavioural needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive in their learning environment. SEN Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities: Deliver focused 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with SEN and behavioural challenges Provide flexible support across different classrooms and year groups as required Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to implement individualised learning plans Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular reviews and meetings Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil independence and confidence SEN Teaching Assistant - About you: A flexible and adaptable team player, willing to work across the whole school Experience supporting children with a variety of additional needs and behavioural challenges is required Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff A proactive and patient approach to supporting learning and behaviour Previous experience in a similar SEN TA or support role is ..... full job details .....
