Sen Teacher

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an SEN setting in Gillingham that supports pupils with Autism / ASD. The setting is focused on providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment where pupils can access education tailored to their individual needs.

The school is looking to take on a full-time SEN Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEN Teacher will be responsible for leading different subjects, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and adapting teaching approaches to support pupils with ASD.

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience working within a Primary or SEN setting
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD
• The ability to plan and lead lessons across different subjects
• Strong classroom management skills
• A patient, adaptable and positive approach
