The Opportunity:
Supply Desk is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate SEN Teacher to join a nurturing and well-resourced special school in Radlett. Starting in September 2025, this is a rewarding full-time position supporting students with a diverse range of needs including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and complex learning profiles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN pupils
- Create and implement IEPs and support outcomes outlined in EHCPs
- Foster a safe and encouraging classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth
- Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENCO
- Track and monitor progress, behaviour, and interventions
- Establish positive relationships with parents/carers, providing regular updates
- Take part in school-wide initiatives, training, and continuous professional development
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching students with SEN (special or mainstream settings welcome)
- Sound understanding of Autism, MLD, and inclusive teaching strategies
- Skilled in adapting teaching approaches and using diverse assessment tools
- Patient, empathetic, and confident managing behaviour positively
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to undergo (or already holds) a valid DBS check
- Committed to safeguarding and upholding school values
