Job Opportunity: SEN Teacher - Autism Resource BaseLocation: LambethStart Date: ASAPContract: Long-term / Full-timeWe are pleased to be supporting a well-regarded secondary school in recruiting a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join their Autism Resource Base.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher with experience supporting children and young people with autism, who is passionate about providing high-quality education and creating a positive learning environment for students with additional needs.About the RoleThe successful candidate will work within the school''s Autism Resource Base, supporting students with autism and a range of additional learning needs.You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of students, while working closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff and the wider school team.Key Responsibilities:Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with autism.Adapt the curriculum and learning activities to support different abilities and learning styles.Develop positive relationships with students and provide a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.Use appropriate strategies to support students with autism, including communication, behaviour and sensory needs.Monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback and support.Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff, ..... full job details .....
