Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting a well-established independent specialist school in West London in their search for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant.This is a rewarding opportunity to work as part of a supportive team, helping to deliver a high-quality, inclusive education to students aged 11-19 with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and associated needs.In this role, you will provide vital support to both teachers and students, helping to create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, both in and out of the classroomAssist the class teacher with lesson preparation, delivery, and classroom managementHelp implement individual education, behaviour, and support plansSupport students'' social, emotional, and communication developmentPromote positive behaviour and assist in managing challenging situationsEncourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learningWork collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staffAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is:Experienced: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly autism (preferred)Compassionate and Patient: Able to build positive relationships and support students with complex needsResilient: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing challenging behaviourCollaborative: A strong team player with good ..... full job details .....
