About the RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils with a range of additional learning needs access education in a safe, structured, and positive setting. You will play a key role in supporting learning, behaviour, communication, and personal development.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groupsAssist with delivering tailored learning activitiesHelp implement individual education plans (IEPs)Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulationSupport pupils with communication and social developmentWork collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and familiesContribute to creating a safe, inclusive classroom environmentAbout YouWe are looking for individuals who are:Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needsPatient, caring, and resilientAble to build positive and trusting relationshipsFlexible and willing to learn new approachesTeam players with strong communication skillsDesirable (not essential)Experience working in SEN settings, care, youth work, or educationKnowledge of ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or complex learning needsRelevant TA qualifications or willingness to work towards themFirst aid or safeguarding ..... full job details .....
