SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: NP16Contract Type: Full TimePay: £92.63 per dayStart Date: ASAP or SeptemberTeaching Personnel are seeking a committed and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in primary schools across the NP16 area. This is a rewarding role supporting children with a range of additional learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and developmental delays.If you have strong SEN experience and a passion for helping pupils thrive, this could be an excellent next step. About the RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with ALN/SEN needs.Use consistent behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.Adapt classroom activities to meet individual learning requirements.Support emotional regulation and confidence-building in pupils.Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff teams.Help create a calm, inclusive and well-structured learning environment.This role gives you the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who benefit from stability, patience and understanding. Who We''re Looking ForMust-Haves:Experience or willingness to support pupils with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, GDD, etc.).Strong behaviour management skills.A calm, resilient and nurturing approach.DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).Nice-to-Haves:Training such as Team Teach, Autism Awareness or SEMH support.Experience supporting IDPs or personalised learning plans.Experience assisting ..... full job details .....
