Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)£ Weandrsquo;re looking for a caring and committed SEN Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Eastbourne area for aandnbsp;full-time role from September to December 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils who need extra support, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally in a nurturing environment.
What Youandrsquo;ll Be Doing:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Assisting with classroom activities and adapting materials to meet individual needs
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and social interaction
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
- Helping create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with SEN (in school or other settings)
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to different needs and learning styles
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
