Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support.We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN (Special Education Needs) / SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties). This role is ideal for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who prefer 1:1 tutoring with a focus on engagement, creativity, holistic and trauma-informed support.At Targeted Provision our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. We support tutors through our team of SEN / SEND Support Specialists.This role involves 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, delivered in a flexible, holistically trauma-informed manner to raise engagement and progression.What we offer our SEN / SEND Tutors

Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted ProvisionWork with learners referred by local authorities and schools requiring support in educational and social-emotional developmentDeliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoringTasks and responsibilities
Plan each tutoring/mentoring sessionProvide holistic, engaging sessions that meet individual needs and progress educational and social-emotional goalsComplete lesson reports and provide progress feedbackRequirements
Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)Minimum 2 years teaching experienceExperience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational NeedsExperience and understanding of safeguarding processesEnhanced DBS (assistance available at cost if needed)Two professional referencesBased in the UK with right to work in the UK, including remote/online workCommitment to promoting health, safety and wellbeing of children and adherence to safeguarding policiesEmployment status
