TieTalent . Core subject tutoring (Maths, English, or Science) for young people with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs in Cheshire. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the needs we support.We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN/SEND, and other needs such as SEMH. You will be supported throughout every placement by our team of SEN / SEND Support Specialists.This role is ideal for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who are eager to work 1:1 with children and young people with diverse learning needs in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed approach to boost engagement and educational outcomes.

Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other educational needs referred to Targeted ProvisionSupport young people referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeyDeliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoringSEN / SEND Tutor tasks and responsibilities

Plan each tutoring/mentoring sessionDeliver engaging sessions aligned to the young person’s needs and progressComplete lesson reports and provide progress feedbackSEN / SEND Tutor requirements

Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS)Minimum 2 years teaching experienceExperience with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, and other educational needsKnowledge of safeguarding processesEnhanced DBS (assistance available at cost)Two professional referencesUK-based with right to work (including remote/online work)It is a strict requirement to promote the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and to follow safeguarding policies at all times.Employment status
