SEN / SEND Tutor, Buckinghamshire

Overview
Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs are required in Buckinghamshire. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support. Targeted Provision aims to transform the quality of education for young people with SEN/SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other needs. This role involves 1:1 tutoring with children and young people in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner to raise engagement and improve educational outcomes.We offer a child-centred environment supported by a dedicated SEN / SEND Support Team.The SEN / SEND Tutor role
Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision.Support young people referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journey through flexible, holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.Responsibilities
Plan each tutoring/mentoring session.Deliver engaging, holistic sessions that meet individual needs and advance educational and social-emotional development.Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress.Requirements
Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS).Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs.Understanding of safeguarding processes; Enhanced DBS (assistance available at cost).Two professional references.UK-based with the right to work in the UK, including for remote/online work.Commitment to health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times.Employment Status
Engagement as a Worker for short-term engagements as they arise; contract for service and PAYE payment.Not a self-employed position; no guaranteed hours or expenses coverage; insurance provided for work with us.What we offer
