SEN Classroom Assistant

A fantastic SEN School in East London are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant to join the the welcoming team.

The Role

- The role is full-time (5 days per week) for the successful candidate
- You will be supporting children with Autism
- The role will be to start ASAP and will be to continue until July 2025.
- The School offers personal development for all staff members, you will often have the opportunity to attend additional training.

- Supportive Staff
- Educates children with Autism (Sensory, Verbal and Non-Verbal)
- Fantastic Training opportunities (Team Teach Training)
- Great learning environment

The Candidate

- Will have UK classroom experience or at least 6 months experience working with children
- Ideally have experience working with children with Emotional Behaviour Difficulties, ADHD and challenging behaviours.
- Be available as soon as possible
- Excel at building great relationships with pupils and staff
- Have a current DBS on the update service
