SEMH Teaching Assistant - East London 100- 117 per day Full-time Immediate StartRemedy Education are currently recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and specialist education setting in East London.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who understands that some pupils need a different approach to learning. You will work with young people who may have social, emotional and mental health needs, alongside behavioural challenges and barriers to accessing education.The successful candidate will be confident, patient and resilient, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils who may have had difficult experiences within education. You will play an important role in helping pupils regulate their emotions, manage behaviour and re-engage with learning.The Role:Full-time, Monday to Friday 100- 117 per dayImmediate startSupporting pupils with SEMH and additional needsProviding 1:1 and small-group supportSupporting emotional regulation and positive behaviourHelping pupils re-engage with education and learningBuilding trusting and consistent relationshipsSupporting pupils with confidence, communication and independenceWorking closely with teachers and specialist support staffHelping create a calm, structured and positive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needsStrong behaviour management skillsExperience working with challenging or complex ..... full job details .....
