SEMH Teaching Assistant

Start Date: 05/01/2026Prospero Teaching are currently seeking experienced SEMH Teaching Assistants to join a large Primary School in Bolton (BL3). The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, delivering interventions and encouraging engagement.The Role:Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups delivering interventionsBuilding rapport, contributing towards an inclusive learning environmentMaintaining regular communication with other staff and external agencies to monitor progressExperience, Training and Qualifications:Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)Team Teach Level 2 is highly desired but training can be provided)Previous experience supporting young peopleTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two yearsOTHERIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
