Lotus Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Margate, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience supporting children and young people with additional needs. The school provides a nurturing, structured environment where pupils are supported to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential both academically and personally. The Role You will work closely with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis, helping them to engage in learning, manage their emotions and develop positive relationships. This is a challenging but highly rewarding role that requires someone who is calm, confident and able to build strong boundaries while maintaining a supportive and nurturing approach.
