Teaching Assistant - Ashford, KentAcademics are currently recruiting for a fantastic Teaching Assistant opportunity at a welcoming mainstream primary school in Ashford, Kent.This school has a high level of SEN across the setting and is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday.You do not need extensive school or SEN experience to apply - the school welcomes applications from anyone with the right attitude, a genuine interest in supporting children and a willingness to learn. Experience working with children is always desirable, whether that has been within a school as a teaching assistant, nursery, youth setting, sports environment, care role or through volunteering.The Role:Supporting pupils across the primary age range with their learning and developmentProviding additional support to pupils with SEN and additional needsWorking alongside class teachers and other school staffHelping create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environmentSupporting pupils with their confidence, independence and social developmentBuilding positive relationships with children and encouraging them to reach their potentialThe Ideal Candidate:Enhanced DBS held or willing to obtain oneA genuine passion for working with childrenPatient, caring and approachableReliable and committed to working Monday-FridayPrevious experience working with children is desirable but not essentialSEN experience is welcomed but ..... full job details .....
