SEN Teaching Assistant - SEMHLocation: Hemel HempsteadAge Groups: KS2, KS3 and KS4Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pmContract: Full-timeSites: Two locations - reliable transport requiredStart Date: ASAP We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across KS2, KS3 and KS4 in Hemel Hempstead. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting young people and wants to make a positive difference within a specialist SEMH environment. The RoleYou will support pupils across different key stages, working alongside experienced teaching staff to help students engage with education and develop their confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing. The role will involve: Supporting pupils with SEMH needs across KS2, KS3 and KS4. Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required. Supporting learning and classroom engagement. Helping pupils manage emotions and challenging situations. Promoting positive behaviour and appropriate boundaries. Building strong, positive relationships with pupils. Supporting pupils to develop confidence and independence. Working closely with teachers and the wider school team. Adapting your approach to meet individual pupil needs.
