SEMH PE Teacher - Immediate Start Reading, Berkshire Full-Time (5 Days per Week) Temporary to Permanent Reed Education is proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded secondary special school in Reading to recruit an outstanding SEMH PE Teacher for an immediate start. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for a motivated and resilient teacher who is passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in using sport, physical activity, and positive relationships to engage students and promote both their physical and emotional wellbeing. This is a full-time position, working five days per week, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff for the right individual. The Role Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to secondary-aged students with a range of additional needs. Encourage participation, teamwork, confidence, and resilience through physical education. Build positive relationships with students and support their personal development. Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing throughout the school day. Essential Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Significant experience working with SEND students.
