PE Teacher

Moore Teachers is recruiting on behalf of a Hertfordshire secondary school for a qualified PE Teacher to cover a long-term assignment.The school is seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher to deliver Physical Education across the secondary age range. This role has arisen to provide cover for an absent member of staff and may also extend to cover a period of maternity leave.The role:Teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that promote participation and achievementAssessing, monitoring and supporting student progressMaintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom managementContributing positively to the wider school communityThe ideal candidate will:Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualificationHave experience teaching PE within a secondary school settingDemonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skillsBe passionate about promoting health, wellbeing and physical activityBe organised, reliable and committed to delivering high-quality teachingDue to the school''s requirements, applicants who hold an Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service will be prioritised. If you do not currently hold an Enhanced DBS certificate, Moore Teachers can facilitate an application, subject to the relevant checks and clearances.
