SEMH / Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools Manchester Immediate Start Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Aspire People Do you have experience supporting children with behavioural, emotional or social needs? Aspire People are currently recruiting SEMH Teaching Assistants and Behaviour Support practitioners to work within primary schools across Manchester. With schools now back for the new academic year, we''re looking for people who can provide pupils with the consistent, patient and relationship-based support they need to engage with school and learning. This role could suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Support Worker, Youth Worker, Mentor or similar professional, although recent school experience would be particularly valuable. Your Responsibilities Could Include: Providing 1:1 and small-group SEMH support Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs Helping children develop emotional regulation strategies Supporting pupils before, during and after challenging situations Implementing individual behaviour strategies Building trusting and consistent relationships Supporting classroom engagement Helping pupils manage transitions and unstructured periods Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams Encouraging resilience, confidence and independence We''re Looking For Someone Who: Has recent experience supporting children or young people Understands SEMH and challenging behaviour Is calm and consistent under pressure ..... full job details .....
