The roleAs a SecOps Specialist, you will help our clients improve their ability to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats. You will work with CISOs and Security Operations leaders at various organisations, from small think tanks to global banks, to assess, enhance, and transform SecOps capabilities. This may include SIEM and SOAR technology upgrades, EDR threat hunting process design, or SOC operating model improvements. Your role encompasses project delivery, technical leadership, and the development of new projects.What your days will look likeDesign strategies and identify quick wins to mature our clients’ SecOps capabilities, enhancing detection and response to cyber attacks, including post-incident scenarios.Lead the delivery of complex SecOps consulting and engineering projects involving diverse technologies and multidisciplinary teams.Support business growth by identifying new opportunities for projects and collaborations.Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and partners to develop solutions for improving cyber security operations and driving strategic change.Engage with threat intelligence, hunting, and incident response teams to stay updated on trends and develop SecOps insights.Mentor and coach less experienced consultants, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor representing PwC.Uphold values of integrity, inclusivity, care, and quality in all work and decisions.This role is for you if youHave extensive experience leading cyber security operations teams through large projects or managing SecOps departments.Possess strong knowledge of SecOps technologies, trends, standards, and certifications.Have a deep technical understanding of how to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats, with a focus on automation, analytics, and detection engineering.Have a proven track record of implementing successful change in complex environments with innovative solutions.Experience managing diverse stakeholders from technical teams to senior executives.Can adapt communication styles to different audiences.Have a professional network and experience developing professional relationships.Possess commercial acumen, including project pricing, budgeting, and decision ..... full job details .....
