Section Engineer - Highways and Drainage - Gloucestershire 500 per day Inside IR35 6-Month Contract with Scope for Extension Our client, a principal contractor delivering highways and civils works across Gloucestershire, is seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join a live scheme forming part of the county''s ongoing Highways Major Projects programme. This is a great opportunity for a Section Engineer with strong drainage installation experience to join a well-established contractor on a long-running county framework, with genuine scope for the contract to extend well beyond the initial 6 months. The RoleManaging engineering delivery for a defined section of the works, overseeing setting out, survey, and quality controlOverseeing drainage installation works, ensuring compliance with design specifications and tolerancesSupervising site engineers and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and to specificationReviewing and approving as-built surveys, ITPs, and quality documentationLiaising with the site management team and client representatives on progress and technical mattersContributing to RAMS, permits, and site safety proceduresWhat You''ll NeedProven experience as a Section Engineer on highways or civils schemesEssential: drainage installation experienceDesirable: SMSTS or SSSTSCSCS card and full UK driving licenceStrong communication and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage site engineers and subcontractorsAbout the ..... full job details .....
