Section Engineer

An opportunity for a freelance Section Engineer to work on a major, high-profile project in Somerset.

With over 12 months of work, this role is a good opportunity for a long-term freelance position.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in managing and supporting Site Engineers.

As Section Engineer-you will:

• Take engineering ownership of a defined section of works.
• Have experience in Civil Engineering schemes including major projects.
• Ensure setting out, quality control, and as-built records are accurate and complete.
• Prepare and reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and ITPs.

Our client requires a Section Engineer with:

• Valid CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS
• A good understanding of Trimble or Leica.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.

Salary and benefits include:

• -450500 per day PAYE Umbrella
