Sociology Teacher Contract Type: Temporary (until Christmas) Location: Liverpool We are seeking a dedicated Sociology Teacher to join a vibrant school in Liverpool on a temporary basis until Christmas. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about sociology and has a strong commitment to helping students achieve their full potential. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sociology lessons that cater to the needs of all students. Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to promote learning and improvement. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and participation. Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and share best teaching practices. Participate in departmental meetings and school training events. Required Skills and Qualifications: A degree in Sociology or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching sociology at a secondary school level. Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students.
