We are currently seeking a dynamic English Teacher to join a school in Lancaster starting in February. This long-term position is ideal for someone with a robust knowledge of the English curriculum and a passion for creating an engaging learning environment.Day-to-day of the role:Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.Maintain high standards of teaching and learning.Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.Assess, monitor, support and record student progress.Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.Required Skills and Qualifications:Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Recent relevant experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4; KS5 is desirable.Excellent classroom management skills and subject knowledge.Reliable, committed, and capable of demonstrating the qualities of a good role model such as compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.Strong interpersonal skills; must be trustworthy, punctual, patient, and confident when working with ..... full job details .....
