Location: Hereford - home and/or community-based tuitionAge range: Secondary-aged children and young peopleFocus: SEN and Emotionally Based School AvoidanceQuantum Scholars are looking for a caring, patient and experienced Secondary SEN Tutor to support young people in and around Hereford.We are looking for tutors who can provide personalised 1:1 support for secondary-aged learners who may be experiencing Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), anxiety, SEND, SEMH needs, or gaps in education. Many of the young people we support may be educated other than at school, awaiting a suitable placement, or require a more flexible and individualised approach to learning.This role would suit a tutor, teacher, instructor or education professional who has strong experience working with secondary-aged pupils and is confident adapting learning to meet individual needs. The successful tutor will need to provide a calm, nurturing and flexible approach, helping young people build trust, confidence and positive engagement with education.The role may involve:Providing 1:1 tuition for secondary-aged young people in and around HerefordSupporting learners with EBSA, anxiety, SEND and/or SEMH needsDelivering personalised academic support across one or more secondary subject areasHelping young people re-engage with education at a pace that is right for themUsing creative, practical and interest-led approaches to support motivationBuilding positive, trusting relationships with learners who may ..... full job details .....
