Job Title: Secondary Cover Supervisor Location: Nottingham Salary: £100 £130 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-timeAre you confident leading a classroom and supporting students in a secondary school setting?GSL Education are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Secondary Cover Supervisors to work in schools across Nottingham.As a Secondary Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning and lessons are delivered effectively using pre-set materials.Responsibilities of a Secondary Cover Supervisor: Supervise classes across a range of subjects during teacher absencesDeliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students stay on taskMaintain a positive, focused, and productive classroom environmentManage classroom behaviour in line with school policiesSupport students in completing their work and learning activitiesProvide guidance and assistance where needed during lessonsReport any behavioural issues or concerns to relevant staffEnsure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students Requirements of a Secondary Cover Supervisor: Experience working with children or young people is desirableConfidence in managing a classroom environmentStrong communication and organisational skillsThe ability to follow lesson plans and instructions effectivelyA flexible and proactive approach to working in schoolsAn Enhanced DBS on the ..... full job details .....
