Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a skilled Second Line IT Analyst to join their team on a contract basis in Wimborne.Responsibilities
Providing second line IT support, managing and resolving incidents in a timely mannerMonitoring system performance to ensure optimal operation and identifying areas for improvementCollaborating with first line support and other IT teams to ensure seamless service deliveryAssisting in the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure and softwareImplementing security measures and ensuring compliance with established proceduresMaintaining accurate documentation of issues and solutionsProviding technical guidance and mentorship to junior team membersParticipating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service qualityQualifications and Requirements
Experience in an IT support role, with a particular focus on second line supportStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software applicationsExcellent communication skills for effective liaison with internal and external stakeholdersProficiency in using IT support software and toolsAttention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality serviceAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamNote: Candidates will be required to go through a baseline security clearance check before starting. This can take up to 4+ weeks.The successful applicant will be in contact with US ITAR controlled technology, goods, and information.
