Job Title: SCO 2 Competent PersonLocation:New Forest, UKProject Duration:5 weeks Overview:We are currently seeking an experienced SCO 2 Competent Person to support an upcoming project based in the New Forest. The role will involve working on a high-pressure gas site, carrying out critical maintenance activities to address a leaking flange in a safe and controlled environment.Key Responsibilities:Act as the SCO 2 Competent Person on site, ensuring all works are carried out in line with current gas safety regulations and company proceduresSafely oversee and/or carry out the repair of a leaking flange on a high-pressure gas installationImplement and maintain strict adherence to permit-to-work systems and safety protocolsLiaise with site supervisors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and safe completion of the worksConduct site risk assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are put in placeEnsure compliance with SCO procedures, IGEM standards, and all relevant industry regulationsProvide technical support and guidance to other team members as requiredRequirements:Valid SCO 2 Competent Person certification (essential)Proven experience working on high-pressure gas systemsDemonstrable experience in flange repair or similar mechanical maintenance activitiesStrong understanding of gas safety regulations and proceduresAbility to work safely in a high-risk environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skills Please click here to find out more about our ..... full job details .....
